One of the elevators was not working. And this happened throughout our 3 day stay. Also, the WiFi was not working and the girls at the counter didn’t seem to care, just said that a lot of people were having issues, it was not fixed the entire stay.

I was there for my neices wedding and preliminary festivities. The rooftop at the Fairfield Inn was great for the rehearsal dinner, I can't remember the venue for the bridal shower but it was nice and the Bell Tower served for the wedding and the reception. Nashville really has a lot to offer. The only negative point was that my nephew had a reservation for the DoubleTree Hotel. When he arrived, he was turned away and not even let inside and told that they didn't have his reservation. Even when he tried to show his reservation they wouldn't look at it. Oh did I mention he was black? Not only did they not allow him in but they called the police saying he was loitering! He had just flown into the city and had nowhere to go! I was completely unaware of Nashville's racist side. I had reserved that for east TN. Now I know the truth. Do better Nashville! Fortunately my brother was able to get him into the hotel he was in. This could have easily turned into a disastrous event.

We had an amazing time.
We had an amazing time. We stayed slightly out of town and walked everywhere during the day so we covered pretty much the whole area (Up, Down, Mid Town). TBH Broadway was the least interesting as it was very busy and so much noise blasting out of each pub you couldn't really hear anything as they were all trying to drown out each other! We went into friends in low places and that was a nice bar with some good artists but it was during the day. We didn't go to Broadway at all at night but found some nice local bars near where we stayed and really enjoyed them. Oprey Mills has good shopping (Outlet) and The Gulch has nice places to eat.

Its a dive.
Its a dive. Police, etc. don't even know where bus stops are by major stadium. There basically is NO PUBLIC TRANSIT at the stadium and Uber takes 2 hours to get there after event. Cabs try to extort you.

Broadway is pretty intense if you are there after 9.
Broadway is pretty intense if you are there after 9. It's basically a street full of bars, so not a great destination for a family outing 😆 Uber is the best way to travel, more cost effective ( downtown parking is pricey) and way less stressful. We had dinner at Tin Roof, The pulled pork Quesadilla and loaded tots were fabulous. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was disappointing though. Dry overcooked breaded chicken on Texas toast, served with potato salad with option of on sandwich or on the side. Chose on the side but there was nothing on the sandwich otherwise. Drinks were expensive so if you plan on drinking bring your credit card. We had breakfast at the Waffle House near The Grand Ole Opry. It was busy and crowded and we had to wait a few minutes to be seated but the staff was friendly and the waffles were the best I've ever had. We also visited the mall. Very nice facility, lots of clothing stores, food court, Imax, arcade, and moonshine! We were there for a concert at the Nissan stadium. It was huge and impressive. Clean bathrooms. Lots of food available. Adult beverages were ,again, expensive ($12.50 for a beer) The concert was awesome, security was great. If you are planning to use uber for pickup though be aware the concert times are not certain, we had a rain delay, and if you change the pick up time more than 3 times they will cancel and you WILL charge you. Also a good idea to figure out where designated rideshare pickup points are before booking your ride( we were totally lost) 😆 Overall it was a great trip, wish I'd been able to stay a bit longer and visit a few more places!

I don't think Nashville's all that special as a city, unless you're into the music and club scene. Be prepared to spend a lit of money, and hopefully you don't mind large crowds. The District is crowded!

Nashville was beautiful.
Nashville was beautiful. We unfortunately got a lot of rain during our stay. So of course that sucked. But I got to experience Broadway which was a lot of fun. And I got to experience the Nashville Black Market which was a lot of fun also.

Colin who worked on the front desk was such a lovely host. He was friendly, helpful and very informative and made us feel very welcome at the hotel. Breakfast was great with a good selection of food and the lady who was on duty was also incredibly efficient and friendly. The shuttle service from the hotel into Nashville was excellent and it was great being near to all the amenities at Opryland.
Breakfast was good, rooms serviced daily, staff very friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the location provided easy access to downtown Nashville. Also lots of places to eat close to the hotel.
Lovely hotel very urban chic would definitely recommend bit out if Town but walkable 30 mins or uber, there were some lovely bars/restaurants near the hotel we had the best burger ever 5 mind walk
